Mitt Romney and his Position Regarding Same Sex Marriage

Mitt Romney is opposed to the arguments that are strongly in favor of same sex marriage which attempts to mirrors civil rights and justice type arguments.

However the African American objections are central to how those rights transcends the Black Church.

It is astounding that the same sex marriage supporters and advocates are not big supporters of the African American Community in regard to the poor.

Close to a majority of the composition of the African American community consists are not registered voters which is a conscious strategic management plan because many of them are unhappy with their treatment as citizens in the USA.

There are many features of the unregistered voter that motivate their unhappiness but the main feature is the high unemployment rate.

Politician from both parties have been unable to keep promises about improving the plight of the African American poor.

However what is said is that African Americans is seen as a subculture because it is argued that many are disproportionately underrepresented in ownership of mortgages, personal loans, undergraduate college, graduate college, jobs, church membership, church leaders, social security recipients, home owners, investors, business owners, stock holders, insurance beneficiaries, credit card holders, bank accounts holders, bankruptcies, over 80 years old, authors of books, political appointees, being politicians, world travelers, etc.

However the African American Middle Class believe that their culture is the same as the majority’s population culture.

Even though Mitt Romney does not come close to understanding the African American experience but there is a chance that he is no worse off than President Barack Obama because skin color is not a qualifier.

Along with the ridicule of the middle class the poor is shut out, especially the African American Poor.

The African American Poor experience the worse of racial discrimination, housing discrimination, redlining, educational discrimination, discrimination as it relate to public accommodations which are the reasons for many of the civil right laws that have been made into law.

They are social structures that feed into prisons and streets life where the criminal elements organize and terrorize the communities at-large.

The African American Middle class feel threatened by the poor.

The percentage of African American Males is over 6 times higher than White Males in prisons which I would guess that Mitt Romney is fully aware.

Since President Lyndon Johnson declared the war on poverty, the poor and especially in the African American Community has been handed broken promises just like the promise broken by President Andrew Jackson concerning such as 40 acres and mule.

I am totally opposed to any discrimination in principle like same sex marriage but if the remedy hurts the poor and especially the African Americans because it is not our priority, making same sex marriage a law must be reevaluated based upon its impact on the African American Poor.

Historically the leaders and politicians intentions are to make the poor promises irrelevant and the evidence is compelling.

Mitt Romney position in regard to same sex marriage is consistent with the African American position and future Democratic nominees will be unable attract extremely large percentage of support beyond President Obama.

I subscribed to the hypotheses that argue that the incomes of College Educated African American Males who were never incarcerated are lower than White Males after incarceration.

However where the details are defective and contradictory are included in the segments of the African American Community that are doing much better than White Males after incarceration with out any college education.

There are segments of the African American Communities such as the African American females and African American Homosexuals that have much larger incomes than the White males after incarceration which are important details of the hypotheses. Mitt Romney position regarding same sex marriage transcend the family traditions about the family in the USA.

I beg the question about African American promises by the USA and the various political parties.

Even the very progressive parties in the USA don’t advocate for reparations for African Americans which is directly related to the promise of 40 acres and a mule. The last President that supported some form of reparations was a Republican.

Even though it is a moral issue in the Black Church along with them being able to manage using their religious scriptures, but the compelling dynamic is much bigger, our promises by the US Government is and has been completely ignored by various constituents in the Democratic Party, Republican Party and especially the USA Society which is why many African American vote against same sex marriages.

I believe that if Mitt Romney took a bold move in supporting reparations many African Americans may begin to see through skin color and begin to understand that it’s about ones character and not skin color.

Please review and understand same sex marriage is different relative to homosexuality in the Military because the operation of the military was becoming less affective in it operations because there were antagonistic members of the Military which is completely different than repairing society in the USA.

We have two candidates that are running for President and it is important that we understand their positions; Mitt Romney argues the following:

"Like the vast majority of Americans, I’ve opposed same-sex marriage, but I’ve also opposed unjust discrimination against anyone, for racial or religious reasons, or for sexual preference. Americans are a tolerant, generous, and kind people. We all oppose bigotry and disparagement. But the debate over same-sex marriage is not a debate over tolerance. It is a debate about the purpose of the institution of marriage and it is a debate about activist judges who make up the law rather than interpret the law."
