American Idol (AI) successes were mainly the result of Simon Coyle and the talented contestants which was founded by Simon Fuller.
Simon Coyle was born in Lambeth, London. He went to school at Radlett Preparatory School. Some of his first ventures were E&S Music, worked for Iain Burton at Fanfare but he was first on American Idol during 2001. His contract with AI got as high as 20 million a year. .
He left AI on 2010 and went to Fox with X Factor and American version of the same show that is a British broadcast which started in 2006. The reasons for his departure were better business deals. One of the founding judges of AI Paula Abdu followed him to the X Factor until he fired her recently. .

She was the first winner of AI. Her supreme beginning in 2002-2003 allowed her to become bigger than she could imagine. The release of moment like this broke the Beatles record for making a single record into number one on the billboards.
AI selected Ruben Suddard as a winner in 2003. He received a grammy nomination for best R&B vocal performance as superstar in 2003. Also in 2003 he released his first single release “Westlife’s “Flying Without Wings”.
AI presented Fantasia Barrino her accolade in 2004. She released her debut single after winning which was “I believe” and became number one on the Hot 100 list. The album that she released “Free Your Self” became certified as platinum. She was nominated three time for the grammy in 2006.
The AI made her into a winner in 2005. Her debut album “Some Hearts” was certified seven times platinum and she won several grammy accolades.
One of the most successful contestants that was on AI that did not win was Jennifer Hudson. Loosing along with her God given talent help elevate her towards being able to buy expensive real estate listings. There strategic management evolved around Simon Coyle and there talented contestants.
